A leading system in North Texas is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist III to join its high-performing lab team in a full-time day shift role. Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift. Key Responsibilities Perform and oversee a broad range of laboratory testing in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards Assist in supervising daily lab operations, mentoring staff, and addressing escalated technical issues Maintain high standards for accuracy and quality control; lead equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting Ensure timely and precise reporting of test results for optimal patient outcomes Foster clear communication and collaboration across interdisciplinary healthcare teams Support inventory control, safety, and infection prevention procedures Participate in laboratory education initiatives and mentor junior staff members Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field; or 4 years of relevant experience beyond the minimum requirements Experience: At least 3 years of clinical lab experience, with 1 or more years in a leadership or supervisory capacity preferred Certification: Must hold a valid certification from one of the following: American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) American Medical Technologists (AMT) American Board of Histocompatibility (ABHI) American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) Grandfathered HEW Licensee also accepted Compensation & Benefits Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift Health & Wellness: Benefits available on Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement: 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar match up to 5% Education: Debt-free tuition assistance and access to no-cost and low-cost degree and certificate programs Time Off: Immediate access to paid time off Other Perks: Mental health resources, wellness programs, and internal career development opportunities Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level.
