Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exemplary care at our state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation facilities. As a pivotal part of our team, you will work closely with physical therapists to implement patient-centric therapeutic programs and monitor progress. Your role will focus on facilitating patient recovery, enhancing mobility, and achieving their highest functional potential through innovative rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate with physical therapists to plan and implement complex therapy programs Record patient responses and progress, and report the outcome to the coordinating physical therapist Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and ongoing home exercises Assist with setting up therapy equipment and preparing the location for patient therapy Ensure all activities comply with legal regulations and ethical standards Strong understanding of physical therapy modalities and techniques Ability to follow detailed instructions and therapy plans Excellent interpersonal skills Capacity to manage time effectively Physical stamina and dexterity Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license CPR certification
