As part of our Surgery Preop team, you will prepare patients for surgery, ensuring that high-quality care is provided in alignment with our commitment to transforming healthcare through innovation. You will have the opportunity to work closely with surgical teams and enhance patient outcomes in a supportive and advanced medical environment. Your role is critical in maintaining the efficacy of our surgical procedures and ensuring that each patient’s preoperative experience is as comfortable and safe as possible. Conduct preoperative assessments, including patient interviews and reviewing medical histories to ensure surgical readiness. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss treatment plans and patient needs. Monitor patients' health and respond to emergencies quickly and effectively. Educate patients and their families on preoperative procedures and postoperative expectations. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for reactions or side effects. Maintain patient records with accuracy and ensure all preoperative data is updated in the system. Follow infection control protocols and participate in quality assurance and improvement activities. Proficient in patient assessment and medication administration. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS certified; ACLS certification preferred.
