Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Labor and Delivery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery – Texas Start Date: January 12, 2026 Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift, rotating weekends, 13-week contract, no call requirement Highlights: - 32-bed Level IV high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios - Advanced fetal monitoring technology including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, and ultrasound - Comprehensive case mix including spontaneous vaginal delivery, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC - Collaborative team environment with dedicated charge and co-charge nurse support on every shift - Meditech EMR system - 13-week contract assignment with no call requirement Requirements: - Active RN license in Texas - Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience - Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications - Intermediate fetal monitoring certification required - Demonstrated competency in electronic fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, and C-section circulation - Internal monitor placement competency preferred - Previous experience in a Level IV or high-volume unit strongly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a skilled team of over 150 dedicated Labor and Delivery professionals in a state-of-the-art unit equipped with the latest maternal-fetal monitoring technology.
