Job Description:

Our client is seeking a EHS Manager for their manufacturing facility near the San Anotnio, TX area.Responsibilities:*Oversee all aspects of the EHS program at the plant level*Ensure all safety procedures are being followed*Manage all EHS systems, processes, and associated vendors*Conducts audits and prepares applicable reports*Maintains all reports and programs in accordance with the company's EHS Guidelines under the direction of the Vice President for Human Resource*Drive the development of the employee EHS plan and goals*Consistently measures, analyzes, and develips the effectiveness of policies & procedures and recommend data driven changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate accidents, injuries, and damages.*Ensure compliance with mandated federal, state and local laws and regulations.*Reports to the regional EHS Director*Perform other related duties as required by managementQualifications:*BA/BS from an accredited college or university is required*5+ years EHS management experience in a manufacturing plant*Strong background in food/beverage manufacturing preferred, but not required*Strong knowledge of OSHA, PSM, DOT and EPA regulations/practices*Strong background driving a Safety first culture within a manufacturing settingUI 678590
