Travel Ophthalmologist Location: San Antonio, TX Order ID: 277947 Start: ASAP Schedule: One to five shifts per month, flexible scheduling Position Overview Conduct VA compensation and pension examinations for visual and eye related conditions Examination only role, no treatment, no prescribing Complete required disability questionnaires and structured documentation Clinical Focus Perform comprehensive ophthalmologic examinations including visual acuity, refraction when indicated, visual fields, extraocular motility, slit lamp, and fundus exams Assess and document conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, optic neuropathy, and related trauma Required Qualifications MD or DO with completed ophthalmology residency Active unrestricted medical license Ability to complete onboarding, credentialing, and background checks Benefits Malpractice insurance coverage Weekly electronic pay Refer & earn program: Earn $2,000 per referral.
