Texas, United States Position Overview: We are seeking an
experienced Assembly Seibi Technician to support equipment
installation, modification, and optimization in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves reviewing
designs, verifying performance, implementing improvements, and
providing training to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
standards are met across all phases of production. Key
Responsibilities: Review equipment specifications and designs,
identify improvement opportunities, and conduct vendor buyoffs to
confirm functionality and compliance. Install equipment and verify
performance to meet safety, quality, and productivity requirements.
Investigate and implement modification requirements based on
performance trials and production data. Minimize project time and
costs by confirming equipment functionality at vendor sites prior
to installation. Oversee vendor installation and facilitate Kanban
processes to ensure smooth integration. Conduct online vehicle
trials and implement adjustments to enhance equipment quality and
productivity. Verify quality results using secondary methods
(torque checks, vacuum profiles, etc.). Install, configure, and
troubleshoot Toyopuc and Allen-Bradley program controllers. Provide
training to maintenance teams on new or modified equipment. Act as
a subject matter expert and share technical knowledge with local
maintenance and production teams. Qualifications: 2 years of
experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Toyopuc,
Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Allen-Bradley). Strong understanding
of electrical circuits and industrial controls (minimum 2 years).
Associate degree or trade school completion in Electrical
Engineering Technology (EET), Industrial Maintenance Technology, or
related field — or equivalent experience. Ability to read and
interpret mechanical/electrical drawings. Willingness to travel up
to 50% (including international travel) and work up to 30% overtime
as required. Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs, perform frequent
standing, bending, and climbing, and work in various environments
(hot, cold, or confined spaces). Preferred Qualifications: 2 years
of industrial maintenance experience. Knowledge of industrial robot
programming and teaching. Experience with AGV/AMR setup and
programming. Understanding of safety scanners and related
programming. Familiarity with industrial networking (EthernetIP,
FLNet, ProfiNet, etc.). Previous automotive manufacturing
