Job Description:
General Notes This is a grant-funded position and will be
assigned for 1 year from the start date, renewable based upon
availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward
goals, with the option to continue for up to 5 years. Purpose To
conduct research on trauma- and anxiety-related psychopathology in
adults and adolescents using neuroimaging, ecological momentary
assessment, and advanced quantitative modeling. The purpose of the
position is to produce high-quality academic research while
preparing the fellow to develop an independent, grant-fundable line
of investigation. Responsibilities Conduct multivariate analyses of
fMRI, EMA, and physiological data related to fear generalization,
extinction, and internalizing psychopathology in adults and
adolescents. Write and co-author scientific papers, contribute to
grant proposals, and develop independent funding applications.
Assist with design, implementation, and management of ongoing
clinical and cognitive neuroscience studies. Participate in
supervision, mentoring of students, and general lab development and
administrative tasks. Required Qualifications PhD in Clinical
Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely
related field (to be completed by the start date). PhD must have
been received within the last three years. Demonstrated background
and productivity in trauma- and anxiety-related psychopathology
research. Proficiency with statistical programming (R, Python, or
equivalent). Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with adolescent clinical
assessments, including trauma and anxiety. Familiarity with
neuroimaging methods. Advanced quantitative skills (e.g., latent
variable modeling, multilevel modeling). Strong record of
publications and potential to secure independent funding. Ability
to mentor students and support clinical assessments in research
contexts. Salary Range $62,232 Depending on NIH Level Working
