Job Description:
General Notes This is a grant funded position with an end date
of 5/31/2026, renewable based upon availability of funding, work
performance, and progress toward research goals. This date above is
the end of Year 3 of the grant. We anticipate this grant will
continue through 2028 with this position being funded up to 3
years. Purpose This position will provide research
assistance/support for research projects in the Lippard Lab in the
Department of Psychiatry at UT Austin working as part of a team of
faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduate assistants.
Weekend and evening work will be required. Responsibilities Conduct
phone screens for study recruitment and assist with subject
recruitment. Conduct clinical and behavioral assessments, including
structured clinical interviews, alcohol administration sessions,
and MRI scans. Help with subject management, scheduling and
reimbursement, and data analysis. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Basic engineering and/or
scientific equipment ordinarily used in college laboratory work.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate. Preferred Qualifications Experience with projects
involving human subject research. Experience with REDCap.
Experience with alcohol administration studies and MRI data
collection. Experience with clinical assessments (including
structured clinical interviews). Demonstrated ability to
communicate (written and verbal) and interact skillfully with
investigators, staff, and researchers; work both as a team member
and independently without continuous supervision; work with
overlapping projects and with sensitive and confidential
information; adapt to a dynamic and deadline-driven,
patient-oriented environment. Salary Range $40,000 depending on

expectation to report to work on-site during the scheduled work
