Business Development Sales Executive

Job Description:

The net-new Business Development Sales Executive will generate accretive business opportunities for our Mid-Market sales team consisting of Solutions Architects and Account Managers. Our ideal client profile is business or organization with $10-100MM annual gross revenue and 75-1000 staff. Net-new opportunities with clients that meet this profile will be the primary focus of the Business Development Sales Executive.

Role and Responsibilities

* Generate net-new opportunities with new prospects which meet the ideal client profile
* Own the entire sales process from lead generation to account management handoff after initial sale
* Responsible for encouraging aggressive deal pace and urgency to keep architects focused on closing
* Report and align with key sales activity metrics customized for the Sales Executive role
* Assist architects with non-technical solution design via client feedback and general info
* Contribute to sales process development around Mid-Market oriented solutions

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

* 6+ years experience in technology related or relevant net-new sales role
* Bachelors or Associates degree preferred but not required

Preferred Skills

* Exceptional familiarity and involvement in Central Texas market
* Developed client communication, management and influence selling techniques
* General high-level knowledge of IT infrastructure, Cloud services and licensing models
* Familiarity with CRM applications (i.e. ConnectWise), quoting applications and Office suite apps
* Learning Organization mindset and dedication to continuous improvement through training
* Developed business writing and proof reading skills (for Executive Summaries and Proposals)
