Marin is growing fast and searching for a challenger Inside Sales Business Development Associate to support various territories in North America, specifically for our business development / lead generation efforts. There is a ton of opportunity for Marin Software and especially within our Austin office for career growth. This would be a great step for anyone with inside sales experience seeking to eventually become a SaaS based Account Executive or leader in sales. Responsibilities:



  • Qualify and allocate leads for sales teams across North America that are a perfect fit for our products
  • Ability to expand designated territory reach by identifying additional account and contact leads
  • Generate interest in Marin Software through 30-50 outbound calls and quality activities daily
  • Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects both over the phone and via e-mail and social media engagement
  • Work with a monthly quota
  • Develop and sustain knowledge of Marin Softwares offerings and associated technologies, effectively compare and contrast those offerings against the competition
  • Provide feedback to improve marketing and sales efforts
  • Reports to Global Vice President of Inside Sales
  • Opportunity for advancement based on performance and experience


    Qualifications:



    • BA/BS degree strongly preferred
    • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting preferred
    • Lead generation, cold calling, objection handling and closing experience desired
    • SFDC Experience preferred
    • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
    • 1-2 years inside sales experience selling software or software-as-a-service
    • Attention to detail in working with internal systems (CRM, SFA, etc.).
    • Ability to quickly learn and apply new information in customer-facing scenarios
    • Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads
    • Experience in SEM, SEO or PPC / Bid Management strongly preferred
    • Must be independent, self-motivated and success-driven, yet willing to work within a team environment



      Compensation



      This is an on-site, full-time non-exempt, plus performance incentive position located in our Austin office. Marin pays market-leading compensation and provides Equity participation, best in class comprehensive health plans including medical, vision and dental. In addition Marin reimburses 50% of monthly commuting costs for parking and/or mass transit up to the IRS limitations. Marin Softwares world headquarters is located in the financial district of San Francisco, with remote offices in Chicago, New York, Austin, and Portland. European headquarters are located in Dublin, with additional offices in London, Singapore, Paris, Hamburg, Sydney and Tokyo.
