Apply today!General Summary:We are currently seeking a Customer Sales Lead, Natural Channel, to be located remotely and reporting to the Team Lead, Natural & Specialty Channel. This position will be focused on the overall management of the Campbell portfolio at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's and all natural retailers based in the west. The Customer Lead will manage day-to-day activities with our broker partner on branded products as well as directly manage our private label portfolio.This role is fully remote with Austin or Camden being the ideal locations.Open to other locations for the right candidate.Primary responsibilities:Developing and implementing customer strategies that align with the overall Natural Foods strategies for Campbell, and achieving profitable sales objectivesImproving customer performance and ROI through frequent and effective negotiationLeading the planning process for Whole Foods across all brandsDeveloping trade promotion strategies and tactical plans with the customerMonitoring and updating customer's business plan including trade spend and sales vs. annual operating planConducting post-event analyses and use learnings to adjust future programsLeveraging category management and insights resources appropriatelyDeveloping timely and accurate forecasts and proactively identifying risks or opportunitiesWork closely with peer team members to manage Whole Foods and other key retailers supply chain through UNFI for maximum Natural/Specialty team performanceTrain and develop: identifying short and long-term opportunities to develop through the IDP processJob ComplexityAbility to assess customer's competitive position, behaviors and strategies and understand how they align with Campbell's strategic goals to determine the best customer investment strategyAbility to develop productive working relationships with key decision makers at various levels within the customer's organizational structureManage multiple categories/brands, working with multiple customer stakeholders and touchpointsTeamwork: requires cross-functional interaction within the Campbells organization (e.g., Finance, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, Brand Management, Joint Business Planning, etc.)Requires strong understanding of and experience with P&L managementMinimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree required5-7+ years of professional Sales experience with large grocery retailersHistory of delivering sustainable growth and exceeding customer plansStrong negotiation skills a mustExcellent problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationProduct portfolio channel experience: Experience selling within a specific channel with knowledge of channel dynamicsProven track record in sales planning and customer P&L managementSolid analytical and technical skills in MS office and internal sales toolsCan build and maintain cross-functional relationships internally and at customer level#LI-RemoteCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between$85,900-$140,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
