ResponsibilitiesPrincipal is looking for a Customer Growth Strategist to focus on its Small - Midsize Business (SMB) customers . You'll develop, implement and review customer growth strategies. You'll also manage processes, reporting and communications that align with the customer growth strategy to increase awareness and activate SMB customer insights/segmentation across all business functions.Here are additional examples of the types of things you'll do:

  • Develop and coordinate the growth plan with the SMB cross-functional team which includes peers from strategy, research, data and analytics, customer experience, product, distribution, underwriting, actuarial, marketing and administration/operations areas.
  • Develop and manage the Community of Purpose educational efforts that will inspire and provide our employees with the tools and resources they need and apply SMB segmentation, data and analytics and customer insights to drive growth while putting the customer first.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams, enterprise teams and key stakeholders to keep the initiatives aligned to goals. Design and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Establish key milestones for the assigned tasks to the cross functional team and ensure deadlines are met. Create and manage reporting (balanced scorecard, monthly updates, etc.).We are willing to consider additional pay grades.The team operates in a fast-paced environment that places an emphasis on customer first, collaboration, and maintaining an equitable and fun working environment.This position is also a great way to advance your career.     • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years related work experience in strategy, project management and communications.
    • B2B and customer centric experience required.
    • Strong organizational, project/time management, and documentation skills with regards to policy and procedures.
    • Able to build and maintain relationships and facilitate collaboration and communication with a keen ability to influence key contributors and stakeholders within a matrix environment.
    • Critical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving and big picture/conceptual skills.
    • Ability to embrace and understand the change process and effectively guide others through change.
    • Travel may be required (10%)Salary Range InformationSalary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
