Job Description:

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for working with the Regional Sales Manager to locate new sales opportunities through tactics like cold-calling, attending trade shows and building mailing lists, negotiating sales terms, and scheduling product demonstrations. Responsibilities

The primary function is to promote sales activities to achieve performance goals in accordance with company goals. Driving growth, profitability, demand creation and brand awareness. Work with the Regional Sales Manager to assure alignment of sales strategy and product offerings within operational capabilities. Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial drive and proactively engage with all departments to execute business plans, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer needs and drive profitable growth. Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities. Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations. Opens new accounts by answering telephone, website chat, and e-mail inquiries and verifying and entering information. Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs. Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features. Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures. Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities. Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Collaborate extensively with company departments for customer product solutions: R&D, QA/QC, production, warehouse. Occasionally travel through assigned territory to call on current and prospective customers. Present customer needs and report any product concerns to company management and/or Sales Team. Report to sales management on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

Requirements Ability to speak confidently and knowledgeably with customers Willing to learn the intrinsics of the geospatial industry and customer's needs. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to communicate the value proposition/solution offering, and develop rapport with clients and brokers. 2-4 years' experience in Sales Outbound preferred.
