About the Role

Blingle! Sales Representatives are responsible for selling outdoor lighting services to homeowners or business owners. You will act as a lighting design consultant to help create and inspire customers with designs and products that capture the essence of their event, holiday or setting that is being Blingled! The focus is to develop and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients. You must be able to develop a deep understanding of the customers requirements and present winning sales proposals. You will be an important member of our high-performing sales team, helping us to spark great joy in peoples lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan sales activities and follow up on leads and foster referral relationships in the area
  • Meet with homeowners/business owners to plan design for lighting installation, including taking measurements and photos of the project
  • Enter information into company software to capture job details for installation crews
  • Create estimates and official proposals for the customer
  • Complete required paperwork with customer, including any billing or financing needed
  • Follow up with customer upon job completion to check customer satisfaction
  • Inspire and recommend upgrade options to customers as appropriate
  • Develop relationships with influential professionals in the area with the goal of connecting to their friends, family, clients, and other referrals
  • Help lead home shows and other marketing activities to develop leads and sales
  • Track KPIs (key performance indicators) and collaborate with Owners on strategy and operational improvements
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, trainings, and webinars Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED, required
    • Proficient in English (oral and written)
    • Strong communication and people skills
    • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time
    • Operate/use various pieces of office equipment (computer, printer, copier, fax)
    • Organizational and time management skills Preferred Experience
      • Direct sales experience

      • Construction or event industries Work Environment
        • The job operates in an at-home or warehouse office setting and on-site lighting consultations, including drive time in company-provided vehicle
        • This is a full-time position, and work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to accommodate different start/end times or days based on personal schedules and business needs. Regular, punctual and consistent attendance is required.
