Elm Street Technology provides Real Estate Brokers and Agents, and their Lending Institution partners with a creative and thoughtful technology tool set to initiate conversations and foster business relationships with the clients they serve.
The company's growth is being driven by both an organic (sales driven) and inorganic (acquisitions) business model and we expect to top $60 million (plus an upcoming acquisition of an Austin-based target with $22M in revenues) in revenues by year end 2021.
Director of Sales Operations Position:Elm Street Technology is looking for an experienced Director of Sales Operations to oversee a critical sales support function for the company.
The Director Sales Operations (DSO) manages support functions essential to sales force productivity. These include planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales job design, sales training and sales program implementation. The DSO is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization.
The Director of Sales Operations will:


  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.

    • Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.

      • Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality, prioritize opportunities for improvement and assists in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.

        • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization and recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.

          • Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, to field sales teams.

            • Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel in the sales organizations supported.

              • Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.

                • Working with Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources, provides assistance/input with sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of sales compensation program policies and procedures
                  Professional experience / Qualifications of a Director of Sales OperationsThe ideal candidate will possess the highest level of business organizational acumen and demonstrate the ability to establish and communicate a shared vision of the strategy and the future direction of the business.
                  The ideal candidate will be evaluated on the basis of the following experiential and competency criteria:

                  • Four year college degree from an accredited institution

                    • Five plus years at a management level within a sales operation function in a transactional business-to business sales environment.

                      • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.

                        • Experience deploying sales technologies and reporting tools across multiple entities

                          • This position requires limited travel.

                            • Subject matter expert in Salesforce
