websites.Summary of Position:The primary function of Inside Sales
is to provide product knowledge on building materials including
drywall, insulation, metal studs for drywall, ceiling systems,
stucco, construction tools, construction safety items, drywall
compound, and accessories for the drywall industry.Duties &
Responsibilities:Taking orders at the sales counter and over the
phoneBuilding relationships with customersAbility to use company
computer system to enter ordersComplete sales orders and tender
cash salesDevelop product knowledge to assist customers with
purchasesCold-call prospects that are generated by external sources
of leadCollaborate with Outside Sales Reps and Sales Managers to
determine necessary strategic sales approachesOvercome objections
of prospective customersEmphasize product/service features and
benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales
order forms and/or reportsOther Competencies: Ability to
self-manage, show initiative and be proactiveCommunicate
professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and
customersBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required,
4 year degree preferredPhysical Demands:Must be able to remain in
stationary position 50%Frequently, will move about inside the
office to access files, office machinery, etc.Must be able to
operate basic office machineryMust be able to communicate with team
and management and be able to exchange accurate information in
these situations.Constantly working in office environmentMental
Demands:Must be able to problem solve and prioritize tasksMust be
