As an SDR at LightEdge, you will drive lead generation activities to support the Marketing & Sales organizations. You will be responsible for driving market share and qualifying leads that build a pipeline for the sales team.

We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter and motivated to drive business growth and generate revenue. This individual will be responsible for tapping into a variety of sales methods including cold calling, emailing, direct mail, and social media outreach in order to target new prospects and opportunities.

This position is an excellent fit for anyone who enjoys having full control of their earning potential. The overall compensation for this individual is a combination of base salary, plus incentivized commission with no cap. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with strong sales, negotiating, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. We are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic goal setter with a positive attitude!
Responsibilities:
Identify, target, and qualify prospects through various sales tactics including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach, especially LinkedIn.
Analyze and track prospect data and engagement through Salesforce reporting with Pardot intelligence
Set appointments and data center tours that deliver qualified opportunities for the New Acquisition Specialist team
Identify, maintain, and expand the company's database of decision makers on target accounts
Develop and sustain knowledge of LightEdge's technical offerings and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective clients
Work with a monthly, quarterly, and yearly quota
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, High School completion mandatory
Demonstrated experience and success with B2B sales and cold calling preferred
General understanding of technology vertical preferred (or eagerness and interest to learn)
Ability to quickly pick up on complex concepts related to technology (infrastructure, platforms, networking, etc.)
Experience working with or general understanding of Salesforce tool
Solid understanding of social media tools such as LinkedIn
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills with the confidence to overcome objections and convert interest to qualified leads
Self-Starter; ability to work independently and with others in a fast pace environment
Lock Room Leader; Internal drive to succeed, while exhibiting integrity and honesty
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through with requests in a timely manner
Ability to use basic functions of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
