We are seeking a motivated self-starter that is driven by representing and selling premium products. In this role you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for sales, your deep technical expertise, and your relationship development skills to support key sales efforts. You will develop large-scale opportunities and work them through the sales funnel in this direct selling role. Apply your expertise in calibration standards (electrical, RF, pressure, gas flow, temperature, humidity, and related software) to deliver an outstanding customer experience that drives profitable growth for Fluke. Responsibilities A. Promotes and sells calibration hardware and software solutions in the Central US. Achieves sales quota by establishing rapport with customers, selling to and supporting their needs. Identifies needs by phone and in person. Performs demos during customer visits, and assists customers in understanding how our solutions support their business goals. B. Partner with and use inside sales resources, customer relationship management system, and collaborates with marketing, engineering and others to respond to proposals and bids, train customers or reps, drive field marketing campaigns, secure orders, renew orders, cross-sell with other sales associates, or sell warranty or service programs. C. Develops and maintains loyal customer relationships using appropriate organizational tools and processes D. Maintains timely and accurate records. Develops monthly sales bookings and larger order forecasts for the National Field Sales Manager E. At highest levels of this position, assists sales leadership in business development and key strategic account management

  • 5+ years of software sales experience in a dynamic organization. Demonstrated history of consistently driving sales and revenue growth as well as customer and market share expansion
  • Experience selling in Key Accounts Sales and complex selling environments
  • Calibration or equivalent technical experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus
  • Track record of developing deep relationships with key decision-makers that has resulted in sustained success with accounts
  • Formal sales training in Sandler and other solution selling techniques
  • Strong sales background in Funnel Management, driving specific Key Performance Indicators, and using CRM.
  • Strong leadership and sales competence along with a hands-on, 'get it done' mentality that is a hallmark of other successful leaders at Fortive.
  • Consistent performance selling direct as well as building engagement across a virtual sales team. Dedication to investing in your team and developing future leaders that may serve Fluke and Fortive in different capacities. Working Conditions:
