We know how to identify and implement innovative solutions for our client's toughest challenges.Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking full-time Electrician to perform maintenance operations in the Austin, TX area. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway lighting repair and maintenance and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.Required Experience:Licensed Electrician - At least Apprentice Level2 - 5 years minimum prior experience in highway lighting maintenance and/or facility lighting maintenancePreferred Experience:Journeyman level Electrician's License or ability and desire to obtainMOT (Maintenance of Traffic) certificationsBucket truck experienceSignal experience a plus - Traffic signals troubleshooting, maintenance and/or programming experienceClean driving record is essential - Valid Driver's License is requiredMust pass criminal background checkQualifications:High School Diploma/GEDMaintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)Knowledge of local driving rules and regulationsCarry out simple arithmetic functionsMaintain proper safety equipment required for each jobKnowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technologyAbility to use smart phone and applicationsAbility to adjust to changing work scheduleAbility to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditionsCapable of lifting up to 50 poundsAbility to operate hand/power toolsSchedule:Full time; Day, Mid and Night shift available.
