Job Description:

The Microsoft Program Office (MPO) is a critical business function at Dell. Its role is to drive the overall business and relationship between Dell and Microsoft across all Dell business units. This role will bring deep business expertise about our Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) and strategically aligned business to act as the primary interface between broad, cross-functional internal stakeholders and our external partners at Microsoft. In this role, the team member will work across multiple internal stakeholders and with Microsoft to build a strong relationship where our ISG business and Microsoft strategic objectives overlap to continue to strengthen our world-class infrastructure partnership. Responsibilities - -

  • Manage supplier relationships on behalf of the Dell Technologies Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) -
  • Lead licensing, policy, cost, and funding conversations with the partner -
  • Ensure cross-functional awareness, ownership, and compliance with supplier programs and initiatives -
  • Shape the agenda of joint engagements to help the business move in a direction of mutual benefit and partnership - Requirements - -
    • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of---relevant business experience in Software or Solutions Business Development, Product Marketing, IT Leadership, IT Sourcing, and or Industry Consulting -
    • Background in intersection of software and infrastructure solutions (e.g., Server, Storage, hybrid cloud, HCI, software-defined infrastructure) market -
    • Core procurement experience in the areas of negotiations, complex contracting, stakeholder management and sourcing strategy development -
    • Business acumen balanced with technical aptitude -
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -
    • Effective relationship building, communication, and presentation skills -
    • Experience influencing stakeholders across wide and complex organizations - Preferences -
      • Advanced degree and/or MBA -
      • Experience in licensing intellectual property including the setup of optimal financial models (e.g., royalties, subscriptions, MDF, hosting, etc.) -
      • Industry thought leadership in cloud and on-perm infrastructure -
      • Knowledge of Microsoft's business model and strategic direction with Dell -
      • Previous experience working with or for a top tier ISV -
