Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and prepare data from multiple sources, run statistical analyses, and communicate your findings in a clear and objective way

Understand the business requirements so as to formulate the problems to solve and restrict the slice of data to be explored

Solve complex problems with multi-layered data sets, as well as optimizing existing machine learning libraries and frameworks

Use statistical analysis and tools to design hypothesis tests, identify the patterns inside large amount of user behavior data and derive business insights

Develop and use Machine Learning (Client) algorithms to analyze huge volumes of historical data to make predictions, design hypothesis tests, perform statistical analysis, and identify the patterns inside large amount of user behavior data

Create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets in order to find solutions

Perform cleansing, processing, and validation on the data subject to analyze, in order to ensure its quality

Clearly communicating the findings from the analysis to turn information into actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and/or presentations

Skills

Strong mathematical & statistical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data
Technical proficiency in database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation
Technical proficiency in supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms in Python or R
Technical proficiency in programming languages like SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python, familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an added advantage
Extensive knowledge of Machine Learning (Client) frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
Machine Learning and Predictive Modelling (Regression, Clustering, KNN, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Generalized Linear Model, K- Means, naive Bayes, etc)
Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool, such as Matplotlib, Plotly, D3.js, ggplot, etc
Data visualization software like Tableau, Qlik and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and Cassandra
Possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
Pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard.
Creative problem solver and can multitask in fast-paced environments.
