Local Unit & Position DescriptionDNV's Supply Chain Division is
seeking to fill the role of Planner/Scheduler - Supply Chain Risk
Operations. The primary function of the Planner/Scheduler is to
plan activities ensuring business efficiency and effectiveness
according to the rules. - -This position is preferred to be based
out of DNV offices in Houston, Cincinnati, Medford, Phoenix,
Austin, Dallas, Miami, Detroit or Columbus with flexible work
arrangement (home/office).Supply Chain Audits in DNV consist of
assurance services (certification excluded) based on recognized
standards (e.g. SEDEX - SMETA and SVA, RBA, SLCP, IFS GM) or
customized protocols (e.g. Code of Conduct and Own Policies) aimed
at assessing the compliance of organizations' suppliers base to
defined requirements on social responsibility (covering any or all:
labor rights, human rights, occupational health and safety,
environment and ethics based on local laws and international
standards), quality and/or food safety.Working with DNV Supply
Chain, you are going to have the opportunity to interact with a
huge number of excellent professionals spread throughout the
America region, but also around the world. Here in DNV we really
make a difference.Specific KPIs related to the tasks and
responsibilities of the Supply Chain Services Analyst will be
customer satisfaction. The performance versus KPIs will be followed
up by the US Key Client Program Manager. The coordinator will
perform an annual evaluation of the Analyst.What You'll Do
- Perform scheduling/planning process in accordance with
procedures, rules and regulations
- Communicate continually with client and auditor to confirm
schedule
- Support and enable the qualifications and competence
initiatives to increase the pool of resources qualified
- Act as a project manager, ensuring:
- Effectiveness and efficient management of scheduling of
scheduling activities
- Maximise utilization of resources while ensuring lower
operation costs
- Inputting all relevant data into CRM database
- Understand and have in consideration logistics/geographic
implications when planning
- Prepare and provide measurement reports as required
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management
- Monitoring of performance indicators and customer
requirements
- Monitoring of auditors' performance indicatorsPosition
QualificationsWhat is Required
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration or other
relevant field preferred -
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Planning / Scheduling? -
-
- Must be computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft
Office Suite of applications (Excel, Word, Outlook,
PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop
- Excellent teamwork skills; willingness to help others grow
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Physical requirements:
- Must be able to work at a desk or workstation, sitting or
standing up to 95% of the time
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office,
access file cabinets, conference rooms, etc.
- Must be able to use a computer, with, or without reasonable
accommodations up to 95% of the time
