Designing & building infrastructure, at record speed, is key to enabling us to scale worldwide. Tesla is looking for a qualified Electrical Designer to join our factory infrastructure engineering team in Austin, TX. You will play a pivotal role in the design of complex manufacturing facilities. The role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to consistently perform at a high level. - Responsibilities:

• Perform design, drafting and basic 3D modeling using Revit for electrical systems including power, lighting, Security, Telecom, etc.
• Use National Electric Code to create drawings in compliance with national codes
• Interface and collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines
• Create full construction drawing packages, perform submittal and shop drawing reviews, and respond to RFI's
• Interface with construction trades and perform regular field walks to review installation progress and adherence to design. -
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Expert Knowledge of REVIT MEP
  • Strong desire to be a part of a world class team focused on achieving amazing results.
  • Experience designing manufacturing facilities and site infrastructure development -
  • Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Currently hold professional engineer license or has ability to obtain in the future.
  • Experience with Easy power or SKM, and ability to run and analyze results from the modeling software
