If you are a person with a relentless drive to succeed, a strong focus on quality with a passion for success - join us today!UCT is looking for a talented Inventory Control Specialist to join us in Austin, TX!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Manages inventory programs, including inventory estimates and analyses, maintenance of metrics tracked, reporting to management, and resolution of inventory issues that arise* Pro-Actively increases turns by customer product and meets corporate goals* Provides recommendations for purchasing strategies, inventory disposition, and inventory management* Bird-dog POs from a macro level for over-commits, cancels and push outs* Actively Manages the cycle count program, reconciliation, metrics and outside audits* ECN control and disposition follow up for affected material* Final review and reconciliation of work order variance and closure* Coordinates product transfers to other company manufacturing sitesOther Duties* Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* Strong presentation skills at all levels* Knowledge of cost accounting principles, procedures, and standards.* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.* Strong Excel and Access skills* Working knowledge of MRP/ERP system - Visual a plus* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment across many levels of the organization, and on inter-site basisEducational/Certification Requirement:* Bachelor's degree in Business/equivalent experience* APICS certification preferredWork Experience:* 3+ years inventory analyst experience. Cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
