Job DescriptionThe Senior Analytic Consultant within CVS Health
is a champion of innovation, directly impacting business processes.
This role will work alongside data scientists, cloud engineers, and
other product teammates. This role is a part of a team that works
across the Pharmacy Benefits Management ecosystem building
analytical cloud-based platforms, supporting pharmaceutical
forecasting and pricing. This team is tasked with rapidly building,
testing, and scaling high-priority use cases that drive incremental
business value. These use cases require significant advances in
analytical models, supporting data structures, data products, and
data features, leveraged to deliver increasing value to our
patients and customers.As a core member of the team, you will
develop and maintain expert knowledge of the rapidly changing
healthcare marketplace, pharmacy benefits management industry, CVS
Health data repositories, and sales strategies. Here, you will be
essential to gaining better insight into a client's data and
data-driven approaches to solve complex business challenges. You
will consult with internal clients to identify opportunities to
implement data science and cloud engineering solutions to business
challenges at an advanced level. You will be critical in the
process of retaining and winning new business by supporting CVS
Health's enhanced pricing options, providing analytical insights to
make more informed business decisions that meet the needs of the
rapidly changing healthcare marketplace. To be successful, you will
utilize your strong analytical expertise and advanced knowledge of
data and statistical analysis. Your familiarity with pharmacy
claims data will also be key. Some of your key responsibilities
will include: Develop a deep understanding of the business and
business needs to ensure analytical requirements are accurately
captured and communicated to the product team Support the design,
strategy, and build of analytical tools to be used for forecasting
data, supporting PBM pricing, and supporting underwriting functions
Perform data analysis, data integrity checks, and business
validation testing, leveraging (SQL / Python / PySpark) Assist in
coordinating efforts across company teams that can include
Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development,
Finance FP&A, Trade, and Account Management Spearheading and
attending calls with developers, business partners, etc. to push
forward the successful implementation and enhancements to the
ecosystem Assist with training and development of team Interact
with others in a collaborative manner to help foster teamwork and
knowledge sharing Structure data analysis, driving analytics
insights and analytical solutions to help data scientists and cloud
engineers determine the best analytical solution Consults on the
creation of analytics solutions that effectively weigh business and
technical tradeoffs using an intermediate understanding of business
strategy as well as relevant big data environment topics Acts as an
analytics product owner translating business needs into analytics
projects and actions.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role
is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Please keep in mind that this
range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade
within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take
into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required
Qualifications 3+ years of business experience leading analyses and
initiatives with track record of business impact 3+ years of
experience strategy consulting or on strategy teams in large
companies 3+ years of experience programming using SQL and
PythonPreferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of advanced
analytics tools and languages to analyze large data sets from
multiple data sources 3+ years of experience in consulting and/or
developing data forecast tools Healthcare sector experience
Demonstrates strong ability to communicate technical concepts and
implications to business partners Demonstrates proficiency in areas
of mathematical analysis methods People management
experienceEducationBachelor's degree in quantitative field, or an
equivalent combination of formal education and experience.Master's
degree in quantitative field or MBA strongly preferred.Business
