ICS - IT Asset Management Senior AssociatePOSITION SUMMARY:
Grant Thorntons Enterprise Transformation (ET) team is looking for
an IT Asset Management Senior Associate that will be responsible
for supporting asset management capabilities for Grant Thorntons
Enterprise Transformation organization. Provide support with
governance and management of the software demand pipeline and
assist the IT Asset Manager to capture, structure, align and plan
asset demand and match this demand with the ET asset management and
sourcing functions capacity. The IT Asset Management Senior
Associate will follow key processes and support the IT Asset
Management Life Cycle that spans from asset selection through the
retirement and disposal of the technology asset. Essential
Responsibilities: Catalog all IT assets and entitlement
information, ensuring data quality throughout the asset lifecycle
Support application categorization and rationalization activities
Coordinate with internal stakeholders related to software
deployment and reclamation processes Perform software request
fulfillment activities Identify, analyze, and influence customer
demand for assets and the capacity to meet this demand Assist in
managing vendor portals and SaaS license management Generate
reports supporting asset management activities Collaborate with
Application Product Management team to ensure all software requests
are in line with the ET software strategy Assist with new product
onboarding by coordinating internal reviews and approvals,
entitlement tracking, and deployment processes Support asset
management processes, policies, and procedures for management of
technology assets to ensure data accuracy throughout the asset
lifecycleInterface with customers, MSPs, suppliers, vendors,
internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality delivery of ET
asset management services Escalate to IT Asset Manager regarding
issues stemming from the day-to-day operations Propose process
enhancements for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the
asset management program Coordinate with other functional areas
(i.e. Finance, Accounting, HR) to ensure accurate asset management
data Support periodic reviews (including internal/external audits)
to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Support risk
management and compliance activities for IT hardware and software
assets Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in
Business or Computer Science disciplines, or equivalent business
experience; degree in a technical field (preferred) Minimum of 1-3
years of proven experience in software asset management Minimum of
1-3 years of experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management
Pro or other software asset management platform Strong
understanding of the IT Asset Management Life Cycle with experience
at an enterprise level Industry certification such as Certified IT
Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) is
strongly preferred Computer literacy sufficient to operate
spreadsheet and word processing applications (i.e. Microsoft Office
applications) Ability to work independently and collaboratively as
part of a team Able to collaborate with diverse teams and
