Description:

The Cloud Infrastructure Architect works closely with the Technology Project Manager and Engagement Manager in order to provide a fully documented infrastructure technology solution based on standard product offerings. As a subject matter expert (SME), the Infrastructure Architect is responsible for documenting and understanding the current environment for each design request. This part of the organization is responsible for working with the application owners who are looking to build out a new business application or migrate an existing one into the Cloud - primarily AWS.

These individuals will be tide to mergers and acquisitions and will be asked to drive the migration to and adoption of AWS within technical environments. These teams are moving several large business applications to the cloud.

This team is responsible for designing the infrastructure that is required by the application team who is brought into solve a business problem. Once these designs are set, they work hand in hand with the Build Engineering team who's current goal is to drive efficiencies through automation.
