Network Model Coordinator/Junior Electrical Engineer #246
Contract-to-Hire (Must be Texas Resident by the First Day of
Full-time Employment) Hybrid Taylor, TX JOB DESCRIPTION: Applies
skills, knowledge, and work experience to conduct the company's
NOMCR, CAMR, RSCR, and RARF process in order to ensure an accurate
and up-to-date Network Operations Model. Coordinates the NOMCRs,
CAMRs, RSCRs, and RARFs within the Network Model Group and other
company departments. Creates and maintains the EMS one-line
displays. Processes the company's Network Operations Model Change
Request (NOMCR), Collaborative Action Modeling Request (CAMR),
Resource Asset Registration Form (RARF), Resource Services Change
Request (RSCR), and develop graphical representations of
substations in the EMS. JOB DUTIES
- Analyzes submitted NOMCR, CAMR, RSCR, and RARF data
- Coordinates NOMCR, CAMR, RSCR, and RARF process flow internal
and external to the organization
- Updates Production and Future one-line diagrams as required by
the Protocols for GMS pickup
- Resolves one-line displays requests internal to the
company
- Facilitates Market Participant model data issues
- Coordinates and works with the data stakeholders on data
exchange and transmission network model maintenance via the NOMCR,
CAMR, RSCR, and RARF process
- Attend and observes the NDSWG meetings
- Works closely with company System Operations, System Operations
Support, Market Operating Services Support, Client Services,
Metering, GMS, and other company internal departments regarding
models, one-line displays, and model data
- Facilitates GenMap packages and coordinating it with the
Generation Resource
- Utilizes data mining mechanisms Requirements EDUCATION:
- Associate's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related
field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is
required.
- Engineering degree is a plus. Required Experience:
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. No
visa sponsorship is available.
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug
screening.
- SQL Queries
- Analysis using Excel - experience doing macros is a plus
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with one-line diagrams is extremely preferred Work
Experience:
- Less than 3 years (in excess of degree requirements stated
above) of progressively responsible experience in electric utility
