Austin Vet Care at Metric seeks an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our talented and friendly team!We are looking for an exceptional individual who has strong client service skills and who thrives within a busy, friendly team. Our technicians educate clients, assist the veterinarians in exams and procedures, monitor anesthesia and surgical procedures, perform in house lab work, and much, much more!Our ideal candidate should:

• Have recent veterinary technician experience including knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology, surgical/anesthesia prepping and monitoring experience, and understanding of wellness needs
• Be punctual and considerate of those around them
• Understand and embrace emotional intelligence
• Communicate effectively and with confidence!
• Be resilient and ready to tackle any challenges head on
