We are seeking Residential New Construction Plumbing Superintendents for our Austin location.
The Residential Plumbing Superintendent engages in the layout, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems in New Construction Residential Homes according to specifications and codes. The Superintendent motivates and mentors' trainees to promote continued growth and learning to achieve accurate and efficient work.
Location: Office located in Huto TX, with jobsites in and around the Austin areaCompensation: To be discussed in interview. $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS after 90 days.Hours: Full-time, 40hrs/wk M-F
Responsibilities

• Direct and supervisor activities of trainees/helpers
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures
• Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety and to ensure quality and accuracy in accordance with standards and policies
• Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials
• Maintain working relationship with subcontractors, division managers, and other skilled trades
• Analyze and resolve work problems
• Maintain knowledge of and enforce company safety rules and procedures
• Quickly correct any potential hazard or promptly report the hazard to the responsible person
• Assess material, equipment, and labor needed to complete assigned tasks and ensure all items required are ordered and at the job site in compliance with the scheduled requirements
• Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understoodSpecific Qualifications:
  • License Requirements: Tradesman
  • 2 years of experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
  • Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
