potential!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a Cardiology Technician,
you will be responsible for performing daily routine, critical
care, and diagnostic procedures. You will conduct equipment
maintenance, perform quality control measures, report abnormal
findings to the physician, and handle other administrative or
technical tasks.
- You will properly place leads and troubleshoot the system
and/or electrodes to obtain a tracing of good diagnostic
quality
- You will recognize basic arrhythmias and the ectopic origin of
each
- You will review charts to verify and carry out physician
orders
- You will perform clerical tasks including daily charges,
filing, and schedule monitoring
- You will clean and maintain equipment and ensure an adequate
level of supplies are available.Job RequirementsExperience
- Previous clerical experience - preferredEducation
- High school diploma or GED equivalentLicenses and
Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per St. David's
