About the Role

The Blingle! Lead Installer will lead jobs and be responsible for installation of lighting products for residential and commercial customers while maintaining a safe and professional standard. This role will communicate with the lighting designer and the customer to flawlessly execute the scope of lighting projects. The lead will participate in and oversee installations, any troubleshooting, and all regular maintenance on lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple crew members and keep them professional, safe, and on task
  • Plan and prepare van/trailer, lighting materials, equipment/tools, and schedules for the day
  • Drive van/trailer safely and according to local regulations
  • Complete high-quality work as described in work orders in a timely manner
  • Communicate with lighting designer, warehouse manager and team to deliver projects flawlessly
  • Maintain a clean and professional work site
  • Uphold top customer-service standards and relationship with customers, including final walk-throughs and proper communication
  • Be able to function in all Blingle software, pay close attention to details, and complete any required record keeping and processes
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and troubleshooting unique problems
  • Track KPIs (key performance indicators) and collaborate with Owners on productivity and operational improvements
  • Participate in regular team meetings and trainings
  • Assist with other company functions as needed Requirements
    • High school diploma or GED, required
    • Proficient in English (oral and written)
    • Strong communication and people skills
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Operate/use various pieces of equipment, and comfortable on a ladder
    • Valid drivers license
    • Employment contingent upon passing a background check including MVR Preferred Experience
      • 2+ years experience in irrigation, landscape lighting, or similar
      • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus Work Environment
        • The job operates outdoors and can be subject to weather conditions.
        • The job includes loading vehicles with supplies and drive time in company-provided vehicles.
        • This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days can depend on seasonal activity and customer availability. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., could require evening and weekend availability. Overtime as needed. Regular, punctual and consistent attendance is required.

          This position is integral to our operations. The role is responsible for traveling to job sites to install and test equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and clean up the job site after project completion. Required to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and repeatedly and must be able to stand/walk for up to 10+ hours per day. Capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions. The Associate should be able to stand, sit in an office space, see, hear, and understand speech, communicate, lift computer equipment, supplies and materials, use office equipment and computers.
