The Senior Analyst role will support various large-scale change and strategic initiatives that will span across Visa functions and geographies providing the Sr. Analyst a unique "birds-eye" view of the organization and broad professional exposure. The Sr. Analyst will contribute to bringing organizational priorities to life by conceptualizing, defining, building, and growing the required solutions to deliver on the desired business outcome. The team operates on an agile basis, with Analysts working with different Transformation Office leaders across multiple initiatives.The ideal candidate will have a range of product, strategy, and technology experience with hands-on problem-solving and solutions development in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable providing insights and analysis to key stakeholders and executives to drive data-driven decision making, creative visualist that can utilize the data to design and produce presentation solutions to meet strategic goals, while maintaining Visa and TO's identity throughout all materials. The role requires the person to be comfortable with ambiguity, be a creative and independent thinker, analytically minded, with a solid background in financial and general business analysis and demonstrated experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including Technology, Product, Finance, Risk, HR, Client Services, etc. Key Competencies for success in the role:Pragmatic problem-solver (80/20)Ability to work effectively in a high-paced environmentBe an out-of-the-box thinker who is passionate about brainstorming innovative ways to use data to answer business problemsPassion for/attention to detailAbility to communicate well with roles of all levelsDemonstrate and role model agile and adaptive mindsetResponsibilities:Partner with Transformation Office team members and stakeholders to drive key transformation program activitiesCommunicate with key stakeholders to understand the challenges they face and convince them with data by extracting and understanding data to derive relevant insights and recommendations.Develop visualizations utilizing PowerPoint to make your complex analyses accessible to a broad audienceSynthesize ideas/proposals in writing and engage in productive discussions with internal stakeholdersAbsorb new topics and concepts quickly to effectively contribute to different projects across variety of domainsComplete fact-based research and analysis including designing custom research studies, interpreting the results, developing a point-of-view, and translating them into executive-level or external thought-leadership contentThe ideal candidate has had experience in developing product specifications, product roadmaps, or engaging with technologyContribute to the design, and facilitation of internal workshops and synthesize insights into usable frameworks and concepts that advance the overall objectiveSupport TO Meetings & Briefings - responsibilities may include:Collaborate with TO Leadership team to review, gather, prep content, related materials, and documentation. debrief Chief Transformation Officer on content, issues, updates (as needed)Capture, publish, track and update key takeaways and deliverables to ensure its completionThis position is open to the following locations: Foster City CA, Austin Texas.This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhDPreferred Qualifications:6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhDTeam oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilitiesSuperior analytical and problem-solving skills with superb attention to detailWell-developed strategic, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skillsThrives in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly changing, and customer service-orientedAdvanced level of MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPointWorking knowledge of Tableau preferred but not requiredPrevious exposure to financial services, Payments or merchant analytics is a plus, but not requiredAdditional InformationVisa has adopted a COVID-19 vaccination policy to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees and visitors.
