Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate solar sales consultant to join our growing solar sales division. As a solar sales consultant, you will have the first contact with our customers, providing them with information about our products and the benefits of going solar. Our appointments are done through zoom, so many consultants are able to work from home.Your duties will include analyzing the needs of the customer, calculating resources, preparing quotes, demonstrating our products, and providing after-sales support. Training is done remotely, through an educational/training platform.To ensure success as a solar sales consultant, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for solar and green energy, and a solid background in sales. Ultimately, a top-class Solar consultant will build a rapport with customers and provide them with tailor-made solar solutions. Those experienced with software to build proposals, navigate through zoom apps, and online forms will do well with this opportunity. Solar Sales Consultant Responsibilities Providing customers with information about company equipment and solar systems. Demonstrating company solar products in a working environment. Gathering information to accurately identify the customer's solar needs. Selecting solar energy products and systems to best suit the customer's needs. Preparing or reviewing designs for the customer's solar installation. Creating fully customized energy packagers for large-scale solar installations. Providing customers with quotes, sales orders, shipping information, and tax credit information. We have a support team that will ensure you have guidance and help when educating your customers. Providing after-sales service including courtesy calls. Following up on sales quotes and appointments. Completing sales order paperwork. Generating potential leads for new accounts. You will have solar leads assigned to you, yet a successful consultant will also network and generate own leads. Solar Sales Consultant Requirements: Sales experience Previous work experience in sales and/or energy sector. In-depth knowledge of solar equipment and installations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Professional appearance and a friendly disposition. Ability to relate technical information in layman's terms. Ability to travel and work irregular hours. Basic knowledge of sales and Office software.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: Up to $60,000.00 per yearSchedule: Monday to Friday Weekend availabilityWork Location: Multiple Locations
