Nationwide, KIPP students complete four-year college at a rate of 36 percent, comparable to the national average for all students and approximately three times higher than the average of students from low-income communities.You can see all our job opportunities at .Job DescriptionThe OpportunityOrganizational Effectiveness is a highly agile team within KIPP Texas Public Schools focused on identifying and managing the execution of major strategic priorities across the organization. The team leads several permanent functions, process improvement, research & evaluation, and analytics. The Research & Evaluation arm of Organizational Effectiveness focuses on measuring and monitoring organizational health, evaluation of key organizational programs, and foundational research. This role will be particularly focused on the first of these three areas: assessing organizational health and readiness to grow.The Analyst reports to the KIPP Texas Sr. Director of Analytics and works closely with other members of the Analytics Team and other network leaders in order to provide analytical and research support to a growing organization.This position may be based out of any of the four KIPP Texas offices (Austin, Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio). Key Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational health against a given set of metrics.
  • Assist in the design and planning of qualitative and quantitative data collection instruments, as well as coding and analysis of data collected from these instruments.
  • Effectively deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations or focus group sessions as required.
  • Ad hoc projects in coordination with other teams.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred (MPP, Social Sciences, MBA, or similar).
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in an analytics, strategy or consulting-type role.
    • Knowledge of various analytic and data management software (e.g., Excel, R, NVivo, etc.)
    • Experience with survey administration and software (e.g. Qualtrics, Survey Monkey)
    • Demonstrated ability to have impact and influence across multiple functional areas (e.g., academics, talent, finance, operations, etc.)
    • Self-directed and results-oriented, demonstrating initiative and follow-through.
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong stakeholder management and service-orientation.
    • Strong project management skills
