Responsibilities

• Designing of new PCBs
• Creating documentation and tests for new and existing electrical systems
• Prototyping and debugging of new PCBs and electrical systems
• Testing and approving samples from outside suppliers
• Working with external suppliers to bring PCBs to mass production
• Working with other Electrical Engineers on the team to provide feedback and design reviews
• Diagnosing electrical faults and issues of existing units in maintenance
• Create and meet deadlines with the Hardware Engineering team
• Interface with mechanical and software engineers to ensure system level requirements are met
  Qualifications
  • B.S. of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the requirements below
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Circuit Studio or other tools
  • Working knowledge of common low-speed and high-speed interfaces such as I2C, SPI, HDMI, USB
  • Experience with test equipment - multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.
  • Experience with power supply circuitry and analog design
  • Experience prototyping boards and systems
  • Experience debugging electromechanical systems
  • Designing for manufacturability
