If so, this opportunity is for you!In this position, you'll join our security consulting team and will be responsible for advising and guiding technical and business teams in the evaluation, definition and implementation of the Bank's information security controls in relation to the development and deployment of business and technology solutions. You'll help ensure these solutions conform to regulatory obligations, Bank of the West security policy and Information Security standards.You'll be a key player in ensuring the continued integrity and confidentiality of the Bank's information resources through project leadership on security-related items; strengthening technical measures to protect bank resources and business electronic information; and developing and managing relationships with technical and business partners throughout the Bank. In addition, you will:+ Apply security expertise in independent analysis to evaluate requirements and guide business and technical partners + Develop and delivers timely and relevant quantitative and qualitative reports to management and business partners that demonstrate the threats, vulnerabilities and risks affecting the Bank overall as well as each business unit+ Facilitates / leads regular discussions with business units+ Manage customer relationships to ensure the CSO organization achieves and maintains a high level of customer service with business partners and that CSO services are engaged at the right time and in the right way+ Review, report, and maintain awareness of violations of security policies and/or standards; initiate and monitor timely follow-up actions to resolve up to moderately complex security discrepancies.+ Demonstrate an expert skill level in the following areas: communication, relationship building, adaptability and decision making+ Provide a high-level of technical expertise to business solutions+ Assist in risk and privacy assessments and on-going risk analysis, reporting and monitoring\#LI-WJ1**Qualifications****Required Experience**Work Experience & qualifications+ 7 years in Information Technology+ 5 years in Information Security+ CISSP or other certifications preferredDesired Skills+ Experience in a regulated industry highly desirable; financial services preferred+ Ability to analyze and synthesize data into meaningful management reports, including risk scorecards+ Knowledge of enterprise architecture and cloud technologies+ Background in project management and/or secure project / product lifecycle + Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail+ Good inter-personal and partnering skills to facilitate effective working relationships+ Ability to problem solve and swiftly escalate issues to management when needed+ Ability to adjust to rapidly changing security environment and prioritize deliverables+ Ability to condense information and transform technical data into easily understandable concepts+ Understanding of information classification and privacy regulations**Working Location Statement**This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (San Ramon, CA, Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY.**Equal Employment Opportunity Policy**Bank of the West is an Equal Opportunity employer and proud to provide equal employment opportunity to all job seekers without regard to any status protected by applicable law.
