Overview

MTM Transit is a vendor of Capital Metro who works directly with the community of Austin, TX. As a Driver you will be using the small Capital Metro Access vehicles to transport our passengers to and from places like the doctor's office, grocery store, their employer or anywhere else the route is approved to go. We currently serve 11 zones in the Austin. Passengers can log onto the app and book a ride. They may have a ride/bus pass, or they can pay exact amount per trip. $1.25

We are currently offering a $5,000 sign on bonus.

To qualify for this position, you must have a Texas Class C driver's license with 5 years of diving history without any major at fault accidents, point violations, or DWI/DUI's within the last 5 years. You must also be able to pass drug test and DOT physical. Also, you must be available to complete the 4 week training! We have training classes starting every Monday.

What will your job look like?

• Provide safe and reliable transportation
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle
• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required
• Complete paperwork as required
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
