Candidates for the Systems Analyst III position, located at 1117 Trinity Street, in Austin, Texas, must have good communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and a strong work ethic. Work involves analyzing and identifying system requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems, and implementing designs using software-programming languages. May provide guidance, assistance, and training to others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.GENERAL DUTIES:- Provides system support to Workforce Development Areas, TWC Staff, Workforce partners, and other authorized users of all systems.- Serves as the security contact for Service Now, WIT and TWIST supporting state and local users.- Aids with application process, system functionality, other related policies and procedures.- Examines and evaluates reports to develop new, or improve existing format, use, and control.- Reviews reports to determine basic characteristics, such as origin and report flow, format, frequency, distribution and purpose or function of report.- Confers with persons originating, handling, processing, or receiving reports to identify problems and to gather suggestions for improvements.- Analyzes and tests procedures, information systems, or utility programs for efficiency and effectiveness.- Participates and attends meetings, and may conduct presentations, system demonstrations or training sessions.- Prepares automated operational manuals, forms, and training materials.- Assist with the development or design of spreadsheets, databases, dashboards or other quality assurance tools to enhance and maximize efficiency in program analysis, technical assistance, and/or policy support materials.- Coordinates with users to identify system requirements, develop functional design specifications to meet requir
