US Consulting Markets Senior Consultant (Enabling Senior
Consultant)

The US Consulting Markets team is looking for senior consultants to
join the National Office team to primarily support each of our
Commercial industry practices (Consumer; Energy, Resources &
Industrials; Financial Services; Life Sciences & Healthcare; and
Technology, Media & Telecommunications). In addition to primarily
supporting one of our Industry practices, this team of five senior
consultants will collaborate together to lead and manage
cross-industry initiatives, such as Industry Convergence; Workforce
Planning & Development; Talent, DEI and Recruiting; Delivery
Transformation; and Marketing & Communications.
The US Consulting Markets SC serves an important role as a member
of both an industry leadership team and the US Markets National
Office leadership team.
Work you may do
Strategy & Planning
- Provide significant support to industry and sector strategy
efforts in execution of strategic priorities
- Coordinate the development and execution of various
go-to-market and internal initiatives, ensuring alignment with the
overall sector and industry strategies
- Support industry leader, sector leader, and chiefs of staff in
managing, supporting and shaping major strategic initiatives
- Support development and coordination of the sector investment
strategy
- Engage with offering leadership teams to determine need for
customizing offerings for industry- and sector-specific issues
Pursuit Management
- Coordinate with the industry and sector leadership teams to
support a successful strategic marketplace approach and robust
opportunity management process
Talent
- Support PMD/Senior Manager experienced hire recruiting
- Work with industry Talent & Inclusion Leader, and
Industry/Sector Chiefs of Staff and the talent team to set strategy
and execute on talent programs/initiatives such as: recruiting,
workforce planning, specific training requirements, culture,
community, and other talent programs
Communications
- In collaboration with the industry and sector leaders and
Chiefs of Staff, develop and support communications strategy and
work with Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) team for execution of the
strategy
- Lead the preparation of meeting agendas and materials for
various leadership and practice meetings
- Develop practice communications and coordinate across the
industry for execution of core communications
Eminence and Knowledge Management
- Support and enable key eminence initiatives
- Liaise with marketing and communications team to develop and
produce go-to-market collateral, campaign planning and materials
for conferences
Cross-Industry Opportunities
- Develop, lead and support strategic cross-industry initiatives,
analyses and programs, such as Industry Convergence; Workforce
Planning & Development; Talent, DEI and Recruiting initiatives;
Delivery Transformation; and Marketing & Communications.
- Collaborate with a cross-industry team to develop, align and
execute industry strategic priorities

The Consulting Professional National Office, a key Strategic
Enabler in our new model, is comprised of professionals with
various areas of focus that collectively provide mission critical
services to support Consulting's overall success. Whether focused
on project financials, quality and risk management, methods and
tools, sales excellence, talent, leadership support, or other
activities these professionals ensure that our Firm operates
efficiently and our people are able to effectively serve clients
every day. Our new Operating Model formalizes these functions so
that we can continue to enhance their quality while providing our
professionals a consistent talent experience and opportunities for
growth.
Qualifications
Required:
- Professional with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in
client service or strategy consulting role
- Bachelors Degree
- Ability to travel 5-10%, on average, based on the work you do
and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Able to work well in a highly agile, fast-paced environment;
comfort in ambiguous environments and setting a strategy /
structure to tackle large problems for the firm
- Strong executive presence with a track record for working
with/advising senior leaders on a wide range of issues; ability to
work with senior firm leadership and their teams
- Superior project management skills and organization; ability to
successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
and autonomously with great attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and highly responsive
- Able to build relationships and collaborate across all levels,
including senior leaders
- Demonstrates strong professional judgement; acts in utmost
confidentiality with sensitive leadership information, and
navigates tough situations effectively and professionally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
the ability to draft email communications and develop presentations
for executive audiences to communicate, achieve buy-in, and drive
action
- Creative and critical thinker, willing to bring new ideas to
the table and challenge the status quo
- High degree of self-confidence, poise, maturity, discretion,
diplomacy and empathy
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future.
