Job Description:
Title: Marketing Insights Analyst
Location: Remote (Ideally Austin, TX for onsite opportunity)
Contract: 6+ months
Working hours: 9-5pm CT (flexible)
Position Description
The Global Marketing Strategy and Insights team is looking for a
detail-oriented, problem-solving team player with a strong
technical background to fill our Marketing Insights Analyst
role.
You will be responsible for the transformation of discrete and
non-discrete data from various marketing systems to enable data
science workflows and for validating the transformed data against
its source. You should be able to assess and solve issues regarding
data quality, and suggest solutions to correct the root cause.
Familiarity with the complexities of marketing data is a must.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in applied Computer Science, Information Systems,
Data Analytics, or similar field preferred
3-5 years' work experience
Expert level fluency in python libraries used for data wrangling,
transformation and cleaning
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with
relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working
familiarity with a variety of databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres)
Ability to query large databases and join datasets
Familiarity with marketing data: Google Analytics, Marketo, Display
and Paid Search
Experience with Snowflake and Jupyter Notebook (preferred, not
required)
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external
data and processes to answer specific business questions and
identify opportunities for improvement
Demonstrated ability to operate independently, efficiently, and
effectively to prepare data to meet business requirements
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

handle multiple, competing priorities and projects with high
quality output
Ability to pivot when prioritization shifts
Quick learner: able to learn new processes, concepts, and
skills

combined with the ability to communicate technical information to
non-technical audiences
