Customer satisfaction and commitment to superior quality of service are our top business priorities, along with investing in and supporting our partners and employees.We are a true International IT provider and are proud to deliver our services through global simplicity with trusted transparency.THE POSITIONThe Network Technician will support the Project Management and Network Engineering team to carry out a best in class service in the deployment of networking hardware for Global customers.This position will require travel to various customer sites within the US.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Installing network hardware, components and cabling
  • Trouble shooting and resolving issues on the network
  • Inspect Ethernet and fiber optic lines to ensure intact and working effectively
  • Ability to rack and stack networking hardware within onsite and off-site racks in accordance with requirements
  • Ability to provide technical support through various means of communication
  • Collaborate easily with network engineers and project managers
  • Assisting network engineers in the form of network design, implementation and problem resolution
  • Be able to cable networking rooms and racks to data center cabling requirements and standards
    • Meet quality, productivity, turnaround time and other expectations
    • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably required by the company and within the competency of the post-holder. The job description should not be regarded as restrictive or definitive but as a broad guide to the demands of the position.KEY REQUIREMENTS
      • Good experience of networking hardware - routers, servers, switches, PDU's, copper and fiber optic cabling
      • Hands on experience on Juniper routers/switches/firewall, Cisco L2/L3 switches and Aruba/Cisco wireless.
      • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, written and oral communication skills.
      • Ability to read technical network diagrams, schematics and port maps
      • Ability to interpret rack build layouts and bills of materials
      • Previous experience in a similar role
      • Good understanding of networking concepts and a desire to build skills in this area
      • Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to diagnose basic technical problems and find the root cause.
      • Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment
      • 2-4 years' experience in Network Engineering Deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment.
      • Must be available to work outside of normal business hours
