WHAT IS A DAY IN THE LIFE?
The Operations Analyst will work to analyze and manipulate data,
delivering clean and accurate outputs for internal and external
stakeholders. This information will be leveraged to make
recommendations for initiatives set to improve business operations
and help achieve strategic business objectives. This position
requires strong analytical abilities and astute business acumen to
perform at a high level.
You'll perform strategic business analyses for various departments
and synthesize findings for business leaders. These analyses will
provide the foundation for future business initiatives and support
of operational programs.
What You'll Do
Extract unstructured data from a variety of sources and manipulate
data into a form suitable for analysis
Build business reports for internal and external stakeholders,
leveraging data visualization software
Perform ad-hoc data analyses to support business decisions
Active data management for cleanliness, completeness, accuracy and
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify
operational efficiencies across various platforms and processes
Present data insights and outputs from analyses to business
Liaise with external clients on reporting requirements and
Provide input to Product Development teams on data-related
features, processes and functionality
Create and maintain thorough documentation on all facets of
platforms and processes related to internal tools and
2-4 years experience in a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and one or more BI/visualization
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
Proactive role management and problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to Identify and solve for underlying operational challenges
Ability to work in a high-velocity environment, managing various
books of work
Comfort with ambiguity and ability to understand business
objectives of technical requests
Ability to support ad-hoc requests outside of typical operating
Flexibility with remote work schedule and ability to operate out of
Nomi offices as needed
This is an onsite role in Austin, TX
Familiarity with data visualization products like Tableau, Looker,
Knowledge of various modern data formats, tools, and
Ability to utilize business intelligence-related tools and concepts
such as Tableau, SQL (through MS SQL Server), relational database
design, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel, Python, etc.
to solve operational problems.
