Job Title: Desktop Support TechnicianDepartment: Information TechnologyKEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setup and support hardware such as computers, scanners, printers, and peripherals.
  • Install and upgrade software as directed.
  • Configure, support and perform routine maintenance of hardware and software for desktops equipment.
  • Diagnose problems through troubleshooting skills, research, and isolation steps using automated systems.
  • Support, test, and evaluate new software and/or hardware releases.
  • Record all client inquiries, from initial request to incident resolution.
  • Maintain records of hardware, software and network inventory.
    • Perform employee and/or client training on desktop products.EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
      • Strong technical problem-solving skills.
      • Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision
      • Detailed oriented with follow-through
      • Ability to multi-task
      • Excellent customer service skills
      • Good verbal and written communication skillsADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
        • This position may also include any specialized tasks such as monitoring the support tickets, helping with pre-production tasks and completing special projects as needed.
          • May require the performance of other essential functions depending on project.
          • Must have reliable transportation for periodic driving to work locations and client sites.Education/Licensure/CredentialsRequired: High school diploma or equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderPreferred: IT Degree/CertificationsExperienceRequired: Hardware/Software installationPreferred: N/ASpecialKnowledge/SkillsRequired: N/APreferred: Technical experience in the copy or imaging industry a plus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hourBenefits:
