and Global Growth team runs a diverse set of growth-focused
international funds with total assets under management (AUM) of
$16.5 billion. The team is based in Austin, Texas, with mandates
including large-cap, small-cap, all-cap, regional, developing
markets and global investment strategies. While we run a variety of
funds, each mandate focuses on long-term quality growth investing.
Your Role Maintain and develop Invesco's Austin-based EQV
International and Global Growth equity team's quantitative
resources to support efficient/effective investment process.
Execute and maintain the team's trade entry process. The candidate
will gain valuable insight into both fundamental and quantitative
investing workflows and will gain experience working with
industry-leading tools and technologies (FactSet/Bloomberg APIs,
Charles River trading platform, Python/SQL/Excel development). You
will be responsible for: Quantitative Research:
- Perform quantitative analysis to augment the team's
fundamental, bottom-up investment research process.
- This includes screening the equity universe for new investment
opportunities, identifying and analyzing market data
anomalies/trends that are likely to impact the portfolios, modeling
and analyzing the profitability of portfolio holdings, conducting
bespoke analysis as requested by the team, etc.
- Maintain and enhance the team's existing quantitative tools,
processes, data and infrastructure.
- This includes FactSet and Bloomberg terminal applications and
APIs, as well as Excel and Python-based tools, models, reports and
- Develop new quantitative capabilities that are complimentary to
the team's fundamental investment process and EQV investment
- This includes researching and onboarding new data sources,
developing new screens, factors, models and reports, and
translating investment ideas/concepts into code/algorithms leading
to actionable insights.
- Partner with internal Technology teams on projects that improve
the efficiency and efficacy of the team's investment process,
including automating investing/research workflows, curating and
onboarding new investment data sources, collaborating on firm-wide
investment research/technology initiatives, etc.
- Execute ad-hoc requests to help facilitate team dialogue
- Manage the team's trading process including single security and
program order entry and portfolio implementation.
- Maintain and enhance the team's existing trading infrastructure
including order management/modeling systems and ancillary processes
to monitor portfolio exposures, rebalancing rules, and trading
- Serve as the primary liaison between Investments and other
internal teams involved in the order entry process, including
Trading, Portfolio Implementation, Portfolio Support, Compliance
and Account Transitions. The experience you bring:
- Computer literacy and programming skills are required. Fluency
with Excel VBA, Python and SQL strongly preferred.
- A working knowledge of the principles of business, finance,
accounting and security analysis is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
- Prior experience working with FactSet, Bloomberg or similar
market data providers is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to focus are
critical for both quantitative and trading workflows.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential
to effectively balance multiple responsibilities.
- Problem solving and analytic skills are critical for the
development of new quantitative capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential for effective
communication with internal and external stakeholders. Formal

- A degree in business administration, finance, engineering,
mathematics or computer science is required
