Job Description:

supporting the region operations team, partnering with Sales, Finance, Marketing & other Enterprise Operations teams to drive orders/sales performance & contract execution across region-based customers & accounts. This position is also responsible for providing operational support & driving operational excellence across the team, partnering with Market VPs & Account Executives. Serves as a business partner to drive business initiatives, growth, business strategy & profitability. Essential_Responsibilities * Support Order and Sales Operations processes by providing market specific insights and analytics * Partner with Market VPs and Account Executives to drive operating performance * Partner with the cross-functional teams (i.e. order management, variable compensation, Universal Customer Master, etc.) to improve sales team efficiency and effectiveness * Support strategic imperatives & Initiatives in order to ensure the fulfillment of business requirements and to optimize business performance * Drive operational excellence processes throughout the team to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction. * Drive horizontal customer level analytics * Develop metrics to measure progress to make tools more effective and to make the employees more efficient * Drive data analytics development and ensure data analytics drive decision making * Identify opportunities to improve visibility, win-rate and share performance across Regions * Drive processes simplification and best practices * Support analytics for monthly business review with Leadership team Qualifications/Requirements * Bachelor s Degree and 4+ years experience in sales, management or operations OR Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Busines Administration and minimum of two years of financial or operational work experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum of 6 years financial or operational work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business reviews * Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a team within a large, complex and matrixed organization * Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management team * Experience leading or managing projects of various size, duration and scope * Ability to translate strategy into business objectives * Executive level presentation skills * Coaching and mentoring experience * Demonstrated written and oral communication skills * Reliable, responsive, attentive to detail * Action and results oriented Additional Eligibility Requirement: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. * Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable). Desired_Characteristics * Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change * Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas * Leadership experience: has two years experience leading team members balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus. * Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing * Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros) * Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend position * Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement within the operations/finance functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas. * Experience leading in a matrixed environment and leveraging other functions to enable team success * Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/ or to work in ambiguous situations * Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others * Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP * Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma * Masters degree in Business Administration About Us:GE (NYSE:GE) drives the world forward by tackling its biggest challenges.
