Care Coordinator (PCC) works closely with the clinical staff to
ensure patients are provided with quality care and service. By
partnering with the Hearing Care Professionals onsite, the PCC is
able to provide support to referring physicians and patients. The
PCC will schedule appointments, verify insurance benefits and
details, and assist with support needs within the clinic.What We

Care Coordinator, you will:Greet patients with a positive and
professional attitudePlace outbound calls to current and former
patients for the purpose of scheduling follow-up hearing tests and
consultations and weekly evaluations for the clinicCollect patient
intake forms and maintain patient files/notesSchedule/Confirm
patient appointmentsComplete benefit checks and authorization for
each patients insuranceProvide first level support to patients,
answer questions, check patients in/out, and collect and process
paymentsProcess repairs under the direct supervision of a licensed
Hearing Care ProfessionalPrepare bank deposits and submit daily
reports to financeGeneral sales knowledge for accessories and any
patient supportProcess patient orders, receive all orders and
verify pick up, input information into systemClean and maintain
equipment and instrumentsSubmit equipment and facility
requestsGeneral office duties, including cleaningManage inventory,
order/monitor stock, and submit supply orders as neededAssist with
event planning and logistics for at least 1 community outreach
event per monthEducation:High School Diploma or equivalentAssociate
degree, preferredSkills/Abilities:Professional verbal and written
communicationStrong relationship building skills with patients,
physicians, clinical staffExperience with Microsoft Office and
OutlookKnowledge of HIPAA regulationsEMR/EHR experience a plusWork
Experience:2+ years in a health care environment is
preferredPrevious customer service experience is required
Industry/Product Knowledge Required:Prior experience/knowledge with
