connected world more secure.Position SummaryThis is a Hybrid
on-site role in Austin, Texas.As a member of the Virtual Products
group within Business Operations, the Solution Architect will be
responsible for designing software modules, components, tools, and
applications tailored to operationalize Thales CPL virtual products
and services. This design will create solutions that support the
entire product life cycle, from discovery through deployment and
end of life. The Solution Architect will develop reusable
components to integrate with existing systems and infrastructure,
ensuring consistent solutions and customer experiences.The
candidate will collaborate with Virtual Products, IT, Product
Manager and Product Development teams to onboard various E&C
offers onto the standardized infrastructure. The goal is to enable
a 'plug and play' experience for new product introductions,
facilitating faster deployment, reducing internal costs, and
maintaining high quality.Key Areas of Responsibility Provide
direction for developers and solution leads designing and
implementing infrastructure for a large-scale production
environment. Responsible for the overall design of virtual product
infrastructure, ensuring robustness, scalability, and continuous
updates/enhancements in response to evolving requirements. Act as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the virtual product infrastructure,
serving as the primary contact for communication and education of
internal stakeholders. Collaborate closely with business
stakeholders to understand how the system supports Thales
commercial objectives. Recommend creative solutions leveraging
existing functional components to effectively support new product
introductions. Stay updated on new technologies, particularly in
security and cloud spaces, ensuring the teams skills evolve to meet
Thales complex business challenges. Work with peers to drive
consistent practices across product lines and deliver strategic
projects on the teams roadmap. Be an essential individual
contributor within a cross-functional team. Innovate and create
robust back-office solutions to support the companys competitive
position and profitability. Create and implement software solutions
based on specifications developed with customer application experts
and stakeholders from other departments. Assist with maintaining
system functionality and implementing updates/enhancements in
response to evolving requirements. Deliver results with minimal
supervision.Minimum Qualifications BS in Engineering, Industrial
Engineering, Computer Science, or BA in Business, or equivalent
experience in a related field 10+ years of experience in designing
and building systems to support production and/or customer
deliveries Experience working with complex technical solutions in
the information security field is a plus Experience in clearly
defining functional requirements and working with remote teams to
develop a solution that meets these requirements Exposure to
operational process flows from concept to delivery in a
software/cloud environment; understanding of how companies manage
orders for virtual products Experience working with ERP, CRM, and
middleware systems and with various databases and data migrations
is a plusSkills: Focus on results, driving self and project team
members to achieve goals with initiative and creativity
Forward-thinking, keeping abreast of market technologies and best
practices in software and licensing Strong written and oral
communication skills to interface effectively with subordinates,
peers, and senior management Ability to clearly define requirements
for separate team development Comfort with providing internal
training materials and sessions as an SME Ability to manage
multiple concurrent projects Experience in both traditional
'waterfall' and Agile product development Proficiency with software
development tools and techniques (CI/CD) Experience with enterprise
integrations and event-driven distributed services solutions
Understanding of SQL, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), and data modeling
Working knowledge of web deployment servers, workflows, and
architecture of back-office systems Passion for efficiency,
standardization, and business process improvement, including
process mapping with tools like Visio Keenness and aptitude for
quickly familiarizing with new products and concepts Robust IT
knowledge, including client/server applications, network
architecture, cloud/virtual environments, protocols, and ports
under Windows and Linux Experience with web technologies (Java
Servlets, Web services (SOAP, RESTful)), ERP and CRM systems,
databases queries and stored procedures, IIS, Web Deployment
techniques, and Web UI Designing techniques Knowledge of Oracle
EBS, particularly in Order Management, Service Contracts, and
Install Base Willingness to work in a hands-on manner with
international teams Detail-oriented approach and ability to work in
a fast-paced environment with changing priorities High level of
personal integrity and honestyEssential Duties & Responsibilities

teammates Participate in planning development projects and programs
to support medium to long-term business needs Recommend and build
solutions that meet customer needs while ensuring system integrity
Define requirements and guide development teams Participate in
larger module development, including requirements analysis and
architectural design Design and test small/medium software modules
Perform functional testing of system/module prototypes and
automated end-to-end processes Demonstrate POCs (Proofs of Concept)
for new solutions to business stakeholders Write technical
documentation and provide internal training documentation and
sessions Debug and correct problems in existing software Provide
day-to-day technical support to the Operations team15% Coordinate
research and development activities with other
departments/functions Perform other duties as assigned5% Stay
