Job Posting Title:Research Interventionist----Hiring Department:School of Nursing----Position Open To:All Applicants----Weekly Scheduled Hours:19----FLSA Status:Non-Exempt----Earliest Start Date:Immediately----Position Duration:Expected to Continue Until Dec 31, 2025----Location:UT MAIN CAMPUS----Job Details:PurposeThis research interventionist will provide support for a National Institute of Health (NIH) funded project, "A Web-App Based Lifestyle Physical Activity Promotion Program to Improve Depressive Symptom Experience: Midlife Korean American Women".Responsibilities

  • Implement the study intervention protocol.
  • Update the study intervention protocol as needed.
  • Facilitate participants recruitment through community outreach.
  • Support the efforts to retain participants and implement retention strategies.
  • Conduct weekly interventions with participants to promote protocol adherence.
  • Translate study documents (consent forms, study questionnaires, recruitment materials, etc.) from English to Korean, and Korean to English.Required Qualifications
    • An active RN license.
    • Proficiency in using computers, Microsoft Office products.
    • Fluent in English and Korean.
    • Flexibility of working hours.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
      • Research experience working as a research assistant or associate for at least 1 year.
      • Prior experience in recruiting research participants

      • Independent and self-motivated individual
